The Classic Irish Breakfast

Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 8 Denny Gold Medal Sausages
  • 8 Denny Rashers - Traditional, Hickory Smoked or Maple Cured
  • 1 Pack of Denny Butcher Style Black & White Pudding doubles
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tomatoes
Method
  1. Over low heat, gently sauté rashers, turning frequently until crispy. Place rashers in the oven to keep them warm.
  2. Place Gold Medal sausages in pan and leave to sizzle until brown on all sides. Place in the oven alongside rashers.
  3. Cut the tomatoes in half and slice the pudding. Place in the pan and cook.
  4. Eggs can be boiled, poached, fried or softly scrambled.
  5. Serve on pre-heated plates from the oven with traditional Irish brown soda bread, toast or fried potato farls and a pot of steaming hot tea.
For a more substantial breakfast, add mushrooms and baked beans to the menu.
